Travels, Travels, Travels...

Hey there sweet friends!

These past couple of weeks have been absolutely crazy (in the BEST sort of way), so I’d really like to catch you all up on what’s been going on.  We have been doing A LOT of traveling, which I’m sure as you can tell by all of our tweets/Instagrams, we LOVE it! Last week, we drove from California back to our home sweet home in Tennessee.  The first day, we drove seventeen hours from Los Angeles to Breckenridge, Colorado, which I must say I’m in love with and could easily have stayed for a lot longer than one night.  On the second day, we drove ten hours to Kansas City, Missouri, stopping in Boulder, Colorado along the way (also a super cool city!).  Then, on the third day, we stopped in beautiful St. Louis for lunch and finally made it all the way back to beautiful Tennessee.  The only thing missing on this unbelievably awesome road trip was sweet Mama Reeves, because she had to work...a blessing, but a bummer. :/ But it was some perfectly sweet time with my papa and brother, they’re some pretty ridiculously awesome dudes. :) Soon after that amazing trip, as if we hadn’t already seen so many great places over the course of 3 days, we headed to Chicago, Illinois, this past Tuesday to play a show! Port Chuck and Emily Reeves...it was magical. :) I spent Tuesday night in the hotel room living the life, ordering room service and movies, it was so nice! And Wednesday was the day! We woke up, grabbed some Starbucks (of course ;)), and headed over to our venue.  To all of you who came our and spent your Wednesday afternoon supporting us, and even more so supporting MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association), thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! We had a blast rockin’ the house and meeting all of you! At the end of the day, we left with full hearts and feeling loved.  More importantly, your presence filled the hearts and lives of those who struggle daily with the horrific trials that Muscular Dystrophy brings.  Overall, these past two weeks have done nothing but blessed my heart through the people and places that the Lord alone has allowed me to encounter.  Aaaannddd...in just a short time, my whole family, including our sweet mama, is going to hop in the car once again and drive across the states, discovering more incredible cities, sharing them with you all along the way! I can’t wait!

Traveling in Faithfulness...

Happy Tuesday Everyone! :)

This past week has been absolutely beautifully insane. I had some incredible writing sessions (I can’t wait to share the new stuff with you guys!!! :)), I was blessed with amazing meetings, and the Lord most definitely confirmed that it’s time for me to get back to Tennessee, and I can’t wait!!! I truly wonder at the times when I doubt God...He always proves so faithful in His perfect timing, and I so often forget the countless times He’s proven it.  This past week was definitely a reminder for me, given only by His grace.  The Lord has truly humbled my heart to His sovereignty this week, and I’m quite sure there will be moments ahead when He must do it all over again, and He WILL! We serve an awesome God, folks. :) I encourage you all today to look back at the times when the Lord has proven Himself faithful...in the midst of trial, it’s easy for us to be blinded to the times He has, but if we look at His faithfulness in our pasts, it gives us hope in Him for the future, even on our toughest, most uncertain days. Please have a beautiful, blessed, hopeful day, friends...you are loved.
